Beauty and the Beast
Story
We are Beauty (Amy) and the Beast (Shaw) from Nelson and are members of the Minis In Nelson Inc. (M.I.N.I.) club. We are slightly Mini mad and looking forward to participating in Pork Pie 2021. Amy completed the 2019 Pork Pie event, and some may even remember her Invercargill bikini car wash! This time around, we are tackling the event in our 1978 Mini Clubman, affectionately known as ‘Pigmy’. Amy is looking forward to creating some more ‘memorable’ moments and showing Shaw the ropes! Let the good times roll
“We’re taking this car to Invercargill!”
As part of the 2021 Pork Pie Charity Run, we’ll be driving a Pigmy from Paihia to Invercargill over just six days. This epic journey will test the our willpower, stamina and sense of humour, not to mention push our beloved vehicle to the limit. It’s all in the name of a good cause though – we are proud to be raising funds for KidsCan to help Kiwi kids in need reach their full potential.
By donating to our team, you'll help KidsCan provide food, clothing and basic health & hygiene items to Kiwi kids living in hardship through their awesome schools and early childhood centre based programmes. These simple essentials can help change children’s lives for the better.

KidsCan is helping Kiwi kids living in hardship reach their full potential and create brighter futures for themselves.
We provide Kiwi kids in need with food, clothing and health items at school and early childhood centres, so they can get into the classroom in a position to learn. KidsCan does this because we believe that education equals opportunity, and all children, regardless of their social economic background should have an equal chance.
